After a 3 year hiatus, Savak and Zymosiz are back and back with a vengeance they are ! Savak is Scott Beebe, former label head of the Possessive Blindfold and Unit Records labels, and James Vietzke. Both are former members of the now famous US industrial/darkwave outfit, Holocaust Theory. Working with their old comrade Laurent Lefers at M-tronic, Savak vs. Zymosiz has comprised their best to work to date for Chemical Elements 3, M-tronic's series of split CD releases. Chemical Elements 3 features four new tracks from each artist along with each remixing each other and finally a collaboration track, which happens to be a revised version of the legendary Holocaust Theory track "Spit of Life." Savak's new material can only described as "masterful". Picking up from the last release "The Taliban Pistol" (Unit Records), Savak moves into more of a trip-hop meets industrial mood à la Dive which features Beebe on vocals and bass guitar. For Zymosiz, listeners will be familiar with Vietzke's famous brand of rhythmic industrial noise scapes and breakcore antics. Zymosiz takes his sounds into some different arenas while still keeping his trademark sound. In support for Chemical Elements 3, Savak vs. Zymosiz will tour the USA in fall of 2005 and will cross the pond for a European stint in January 2006. You have been warned, Savak vs. Zymosiz are back!
