Analogue synth basses, atmospheric soundscapes, heart aching ballads and kicking sequences, supplemented by Arnte’s spooky whispering vocals and Schmoun’s sensual fairy-voice – that’s what PYRROLINE’s sound is all about. The South-Germany-based band follows in the footsteps of their electro heros such as Mentallo & the Fixer, Front Line Assembly or Skinny Puppy, and make complex, multi-layered dark- electro. Neddless to say that their sound is far away from any cliché. Only the groove, emotion and atmosphere take center stage in Arnte's and Schmoun's music. Arnte & Schmoun started making music together in 2005 as NORDSCHLACHT . The bandname was misinterpreted by many and that’s why they decided to change it to PYRROLINE right before the release of their 2nd album entitled „Behind the Horizon“. Even though they have accomplished quite a few things under the NORDSCHLACHT moniker and became well-known within the indie electronic scene, Arnte & Schmoun are looking forward to a new beginning with PYRROLINE. The first album called „Silence, Beauty and Cruelty“ was released in 2008 and was highly- praised by most reviewers. Also the first concerts were warmly appreciated. Highlights were the splitgig with Jihad at the 3rd Aliens Productions Night near Bratislave, Slovakia in May 2009, and the concert with Leaether Strip in South Germany in January 2010. The band’s sophomore release is coming out in december 2010. The sound of the new album picks up where their debut left off. Expect a sequence of high inspirational/ emotional ballads and ass-kicking dancefloor-smashers. „Behind The Horizon“ will be available digitally at all established MP3 onlinestores and as a CD from the PYRROLINE headquarter.
