The music of Displacer is build around ambient soundscapes with a futuristic touch, and in most of the tracks more and more electronic beat effects are added throughout the playing time. The atmosphere is a dark one built with complex electronic sounds. More complex than the debut album, “Arroyo” is made of many rythmic and melodic layers both saturated and lightening. A unique atmoshpere emerges from this album on which Victoria Lloyd (singer of Clare Voyant and HMB) added her vocals on the wonderful « Disconnected » song. The whole album was mastered at 5-25 studio in San Francisco by Mike Wells of Gridlock. As a present 3 remixes by the excellent Flint Glass, Dither and O2 (Gridlock side project) complete the album.
